Senior Manufacturing Engineer / Advanced CNC Programmer Job Number: 354590 Category: -MFG & Supply Chain SBU Description: Job Title: Senior Manufacturing Engineer / Advanced CNC Programmer Location: Fort Worth, TX 76196 Area Code: 817, 682 Pay Rate: $45.00-$65.00 per hour Employment Type: Full-Time, Onsite Shift: 1st Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in CAD-based programming and model-based manufacturing to optimize CNC machining processes and part fabrication. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturability, material properties, and tooling design, ensuring efficient production of hard and soft material components. This role plays a critical part in improving dimensional accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with aerospace standards. Key Responsibilities: CNC Programming & Validation * Develop, optimize, and validate CNC machining programs for aerospace components. * Simulate toolpaths to detect and prevent errors before production. * Ensure CAD programming aligns with manufacturability and process efficiency. Process Optimization & Material Understanding * Analyze engineering drawings, BOMs, GD&T, and material properties to refine programming. * Optimize machining strategies for hard and soft materials, including dissimilar metals. * Ensure compliance with industry standards, tooling design, and aerospace tolerances. Collaboration & Troubleshooting * Work with design engineers to enhance CAD-based programs for production feasibility. * Perform machine setup, initial runs, troubleshooting, and post-machining inspections. * Continuously improve programming strategies and material handling techniques. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in engineering. * Proficiency in MasterCAM. * Experience with CAD design and its direct impact on manufacturability. * Hands-on experience with VERICUT for CNC program validation & simulation. * Strong knowledge of GD&T, tooling design, and aerospace tolerances. * Experience machining hard and soft materials, including dissimilar metals. * US Citizenship required due to the nature of the work. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with 5-7 axis CNC programming for complex aerospace parts. * Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing standards and tooling processes. * Proficiency in Solidworks and/or CATIA. * Experience with Digital Manufacturing tools such as Dassault DELMIA / 3DExperience.
