In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of our manufacturing operations by developing and optimizing manufacturing processes, designing fixtures, and working collaboratively across functions to resolve issues that arise. As a subject matter expert, you'll also serve as a valuable resource for training on the manufacturing floor. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring product quality, improving operational efficiency, and driving continuous improvements to meet established standards.
 

In addition to technical proficiency, this role demands a strong ability to manage production workflows, analyze performance data, and identify solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency. You will be responsible for planning assembly layouts, creating specifications for tools and equipment, and utilizing statistical process control techniques to ensure product excellence. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our operations, as you work closely with engineering teams to optimize designs and processes that meet both customer and regulatory requirements. What YOU Will Do:

Prepares quality related items and documentation to ensure that established quality standards are metManages the sequencing of work such, as build and delivery, to ensure smooth operations and optimal use of resourcesCompiles information on cell performance and productivity so that manufacturing performance can be analyzedResearch, review and test techniques for efficiency and planningHelp identify operational issues by studying functional and performance systemsDiscipline Description Designs and plans layout for assembly and materials handlingAdapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditionsPlans sequence of operations and specification procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performanceDevelops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniquesProvides guidance for engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experienceMust be a U.S. CitizenMust have previous experience working within a FAA part 145 repair station

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
