Summary: Seeking a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer to oversee and optimize manufacturing processes for enhanced product functionality and cost efficiency.
Job Requirements:
5-7+ years of experience in machining, welding, and/or electromechanical assembly.
3+ years in a defense/aerospace job shop environment.
BS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in MS Office and SolidWorks.
Experience with CNC machining, sandblasting/painting/coating/plating, welding, heat treating, assembly, Non-Destructive Testing, Mechanical Testing.
Understanding of GD&T and detailed engineering drawings.
Project management experience.
Preferred Skills:
Ability to obtain security clearance.
Mentoring skills for engineering and shop personnel.
Effective Root Cause and Corrective Action analysis.
ERP/MRP guidelines proficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
Define and develop manufacturing and inspection processes.
Create manufacturing routings based on project requirements.
Develop work instructions and setup sheets.
Establish control plans for critical features.
Define inspection requirements to meet customer needs.
Champion process development to improve quality and efficiency.
Identify root causes of quality defects in existing processes.
Assist in developing facilities for better space utilization and product flow.
Develop tools, fixtures, test equipment required for manufacturing.
Identify new technologies to reduce costs and risks while promoting efficiencies.
Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
