Roles and Responsibilities

The position is responsible and accountable for  planning and execution of manufacturing and supply chain initiatives to achieve set objectives for sales, safety, quality, cost, delivery, and inventory targets. Achieve budget figures for sales, operating profit, inventory. Achieve operational KPIs as per GSC dashboard focusing on EHS, quality, cost, delivery and cash targets.Lead and drive the manufacturing excellence and continuous improvement culture in the Plant through implementation of Lean principles and tools.Be a change agent, led by example, coach teams for Lean competency and showing the value and benefits of LeanIdentify big opportunities in the manufacturing area for process efficiency/cost improvement and initiate/monitor project/actionsMaintain a healthy working environment by keeping workforce motivated and engaged.Hire, train, motivate and evaluate the potential of people in the Team and build required competencies.Uses judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of manufacturing. Takes new perspective on existing solutions. Uses technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements. Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.Minimum 15 years industry experience in Electrical, Electrnoics / Automobile industryMinimum 7  years of  experience in a Supply Chain, Manufacturing operations position.
