Job Description

Perform all tasks associated with operating equipment through formulation, preparation, and dispensing of pharmaceutical processes, according to cGMP guidelines to meet production demands. Work with advanced automated equipment, in the creation of new products, and serve as one of several lead technicians while coordinating work in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Perform documentation in accordance with cGMP guidelines, properly review Batch Records, and provide leadership on the floor.

ResponsibilitiesOperate equipment through formulation, preparation, and dispensing of pharmaceutical processes according to cGMP guidelines.Work with advanced automated equipment in the creation of new products.Serve as a lead technician, coordinating work according to SOPs.Perform documentation in accordance with cGMP guidelines.Properly review Batch Records.Provide leadership on the floor.Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and process issues, elevating concerns to appropriate personnel.Essential SkillsExperience with cGMP guidelines.Pharmaceutical production experience.Experience with batch records.Manufacturing or processing experience in a pharmaceutical environment.Cleanroom and packaging experience.Mechanical aptitudeStrong attention to detail.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate Degree or equivalent certification from a technical or vocational school required.Three to five years of relevant work experience in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.Experience in an FDA-regulated cGMP environment preferred.Ability to provide front-line troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and process issues.Work Environment

Saturday - Tuesday, 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM (Shift schedule may change). Ability to work overtime when necessary. Sterile environment with gowning requirements. Willingness to work in a plant producing radioactive materials, participate in safety programs, and wear personal protective equipment. Team-based environment requiring close attention to detail. May require sitting or standing for long periods, frequent handling of radioactive cyclotron components, and occasional lifting of up to 70 lbs. Responsibilities include lifting, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, reaching, and climbing stairs with or without accommodation. Must possess good hand-eye coordination. Must be able to work outside of regular work hours.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.04 - $30.00/hr.
