As a Senior Marine Engineer you will:

Assist in design, development, and evaluation of the operation of marine vessels, ship machinery, and related equipment, such as propulsion systems & power generation systems. Support the US Coast Guard reviewing third party design modifications and improvements to mechanical systems and components. Perform design reviews, evaluating constructability, helping resolve technical issues, and managing information generated through the design and construction phases. Conduct analyses of propulsion systems and types, lead development of technical data packages and reviews. Conduct trade studies regarding ship configuration. Conduct marine engineering analysis. Create graphical representations of structures and systems. Inspect equipment or systems. Assist in research of advanced engineering designs or applications. Prepare technical reports for internal use.
