UBHC’s 1,060 experienced behavioral health professionals and support staff are dedicated to treatment, prevention, and education. UBHC, one of the largest providers of behavioral health care in the country, has a budget of $260 million and has 15 sites throughout New Jersey. Services are readily accessible and include: inpatient, outpatient, partial hospitalization, screening, crisis stabilization, family/caregiver support, community outreach and case management, supportive housing, supported employment, prevention and consultation, employee assistance programs, and a licensed therapeutic school from preschool through high school. Specialty services include the New Jersey suicide prevention helpline and peer help lines for police, veterans, active military, teachers, mothers of special needs children and child protective service workers. In FY2016, UBHC treated 16,199 consumers, had 24,502 admissions, and touched the lives of 19,441 individual callers through peer support. In addition, UBHC is the primary mental health training resource for the New Jersey departments of Human Services, Children and Families, and Corrections, delivering 16,000 trainings each year. Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Senior Marketing and Communication Coordinator for the Ambulatory Services – Rutgers Center for Recovery and Wellbeing within Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care.
The primary purpose of the Senior Marketing and Communications Coordinator is to be responsible for the production of varied communications to promote the Center to various audiences. Collaborates on developing, planning, and implementing marketing, public relations, advertising and promotional activities and strategies.
Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Collaborates with the Center’s management team on planning, developing, designing, and implementing marketing/advertising and outreach campaigns, activities, and strategies to increase/strengthen brand recognition and image. Develops and maintains strong and productive partnerships with funders, stakeholders, community and state organizations, and referral sources. Coordinates and actively participates in community outreach, engagement and networking events, conferences, and meetings throughout the state. Develops and maintains branding strategies. Ensures alignment with branding in all communications. Responsible for providing digital content including videos, photos, graphics, and text for social media and digital channels. Oversees communications with internal and external stakeholders. Collaborates with other departments, external agencies, and funders to achieve the Center’s marketing goals. Facilitates onsite tours. Integrates social media campaigns within all related marketing communications. Utilizes social media monitoring tools to track activity, analyze data, and identify and evaluate market trends. Presents and reports on findings and recommendations. Creates and maintains a visually professional presence on social media platforms. Coordinates content across websites. Participates in ongoing evaluation and improvement of the Center’s website. Position Status Full Time Hours Per Week Daily Work Shift Work Arrangement This position requires a fully on-site work arrangement.
