Position Title: Senior Marketing & Communications Manager

Entity: M&O Division  - South East Asia & Pacific Zone

Location: Singapore

 

Mission:

The job incumbent is responsible for developing and executing marketing and communications strategies to promote the company's products and services within the marine and offshore industries across a defined geographic region. This role will lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of targeted marketing campaigns, content creation, external communications to raise brand awareness, and engage target audiences, and drive lead generation and sales.

Functional / Technical Competencies:

Develop and implement a comprehensive regional integrated marketing and communications plan for the marine and offshore sectors, aligning with the BV’s & M&O global business objectives. Conduct market research and analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the assigned region. Manage the creation and distribution of high-quality marketing content, such as website updates, blog posts, newsletters, brochures, case studies, and social media posts, to effectively communicate the company's value proposition, thought leadership and brand messaging. Manage the execution of marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, advertising, trade shows, and client events, to generate leads and strengthen customer relationships. Collaborate with cross functional teams within SEAP and Head Office, including sales and product teams to align marketing and communications activities with the sales process, providing support and resources to facilitate lead generation and conversion. Monitor and analyze marketing and communications performance metrics to measure effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives, and use data-driven insights (such as website traffic, lead generation, customer engagement, etc) to optimize future strategies. Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and trends, competitive landscape, emerging marketing technologies, and best practices, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. Manage the regional marketing and communications budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effective execution.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in marketing, business, or a related field. At least 7 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on Marine & Offshore industry. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful regional marketing strategies within the marine and offshore sectors. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Proficient in using marketing and analytics tools, such as CRM, email marketing, social media, etc. Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and best practices in the marine and offshore sectors.
