Senior Marketing Coordinator

HDR is seeking a marketing professional willing to be trained in HDR’s methodologies and build a future in this dynamic community-orientated organization. This position requires strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, administrative and multi-tasking skills, as well as a positive attitude and team approach.

The successful candidate will be driven, energetic, and hands-on marketing professional preferably located in New York, NY or Pennington, NJ. This position will support business development and proposal efforts for the Building Engineering Services Business Group (BES). BES is responsible for projects in the Tech/Media/Telecom, Hotel/Leisure/Entertainment, Commercial Real Estate, and Finance market sectors. The individual will be working in a cross-functional, strengths-based team environment. This position is responsible for supporting our growing marketing and client development activities. The position will report to the BES Pursuit Leader, working closely with local leadership, with further support and mentorship provided from within HDR’s extensive international marketing team.

In your role we will primarily count on you to:

• Work collaboratively with the BES pursuit team and project managers to prepare materials, including qualifications, proposals, presentations, handouts, brochures, announcements, and reports.

• Execute capture planning activities, including client and project research.

• Develop and assure compliance with proposal/interview management documents, including proposal development schedules, outlines, and assignments.

• Work under tight deadlines with diplomacy, including balancing multiple priorities on concurrent assignments while maintaining quality.

• Maintain our client and marketing database including complete employee and project record updates through EBS database system.

• Write and tailor employee resumes, project descriptions, and other qualification materials.

• Conduct pursuit close-out activities (e.g., database updates, file clean-up, document uploads, etc.).

We'll also count on you to:

• Develop and/or coordinate graphics.

• Perform technical writing/editing.

• Help advance marketing process improvement initiatives.

• Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

• Minimum of 5 years experience

• Deep knowledge of the A/E/C industry’s standard approach to procurement of professional services

• Ability and desire to travel and engage with others in-person

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions.
