Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Marketing Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

• Lead project pursuit teams, manage pursuit processes and follow quality procedures for document production for full pursuit lifecycle, including interview preparation and coaching.
• Assist our Market Sector Leaders with the development of local marketing plans, market analysis and support business development activities
• Work with internal Client Managers and Teams in the development of marketing strategies, client development plans, and pursuit capture planning
• Conduct pursuit capture planning and proposal coordination meetings with technical teams
• Conceptualize, research and produce marketing materials, proposals, promotions and presentations
• Manage and produce virtual interviews
• Develop and implement procedures and processes for identification, screening and selection of pursuits
• Develop and coordinate graphics, write and edit layout materials
• Write non-technical text, and edit and proofread marketing collateral
• Provide storyboarding and message development for proposals
• Be responsible for timely production and quality of marketing deliverables and communications
• Coordinate professional association events, including developing conference concepts, promotions and artwork
• Participate in SMPS, WTS and other professional organizations as appropriate.
• Perform other duties as needed

• Minimum of 5 years proposal marketing experience, preferably in the A/E/C.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, and MS Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and MS Teams
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills, creative/graphic design skills and use of other media in marketing proposals, presentations and related collateral materials
• Committed to quality and HDR values
• Can work independently and cooperatively with diverse teams, as well as area, regional, and national technical managers and project staff
• Requires little or no direction in area of specialization
• Must exhibit proficient technical computer skills, advanced knowledge of communication theory and basic layout and design principles
• Demonstrates understanding of technical proposals
• Quick self-starter, team-oriented and able to work with different personalities and professional styles
• Highly articulate, have a clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and good decision-making abilities
• Adhere to HDR standards, facilitate the proposal review process, and guide production
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English or Journalism preferred

• Preference given to local candidates
