Senior Marketing Manager, Employer

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Customer & Growth team at Mercer Super. This role will be based in Sydney. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Senior Marketing Manager, Employer

The role will collaborate to set the marketing strategy and plan to deliver on Mercer Super’s growth targets for employer clients. It will work closely with the broader marketing function, distribution and product teams to ensure strategy and go-to-market alignment. Key measures of success for the role will be new business wins, employer engagement and satisfaction, segmentation and digital servicing, retention and facilitating underlying corporate plan member growth. Engagement activities include delivering employer experience improvements, content, campaigns, pitches and other growth and retention activities.

This is an 18-month contract.

We will count on you to:

Deliver on the super marketing strategy for acquiring, engaging and retaining employer clients.Work closely with member marketing to coordinate the strategy and activities for employers who are broader Mercer and Mercer Super clients. Drive key initiatives including employer segmentation and scalable servicing.Partner with the distribution team to acquire new employers, including participate in new business pitches. Contribute to the performance of the broader marketing function.Develop leading propositions and experiences to drive employer engagement and retention.Manage budgets and suppliers to drive efficient and effective outcomes.Monitor competitors, industry and local trends.Contribute to the growth culture of marketing.

What you need to have:

Deep corporate super marketing experience in strategy and execution, including the ability to work with data and insights to drive growth outcomes.RG146 highly desirableExperience in delivering scaled marketing servicing models.Consumer marketing experience and how it can be applied to business to business environments.Building strong relationships across the business to deliver seamless and simple experiences.Digitally savvy, with experience leading and implementing marketing automation to drive scale with business customer interactions.Advanced conflict resolution and business acumen skills.Solid understanding of superannuation from a consumer perspective, including working within regulatory frameworks.Broad understanding of complex superannuation issues and solutionsDeep understanding of the corporate super value chainAbility to design and implement a variety of marketing engagement strategies to drive business level outcomes. Strong written communication skills with demonstrated ability to engage, build rapport, “carry the conversation” and present recommendations and influence outcomes.
