Senior Marketing Manager

As a Senior Marketing Manager at Stryker, you will develop and direct marketing programs for our legacy Acute Care, Emergency Care, and Sage divisions in Canada. You will also play a critical role in shaping the long-term talent strategy for the marketing organization, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and high performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

Lead the team responsible for developing and executing the product and portfolio strategy.Establish a long-term talent plan for the marketing organization, ensuring sustainable growth and leadership development.Drive a culture of excellence and innovation, ensuring high performance across all marketing initiatives.

Marketing Strategy & Execution

Own the marketing plan, from creation to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals.Challenge the team to employ effective segmentation, targeting, and positioning methods.Identify opportunities to optimize pricing strategies based on market conditions and product lifecycle.Establish metrics to measure the success of marketing objectives in driving customer engagement.

Financial & Business Acumen

Demonstrate strong P&L understanding, making data-driven decisions to optimize marketing investments.Identify and implement breakthrough solutions across cross-functional teams, influencing business strategy.

Industry & Stakeholder Engagement

Develop key relationships with industry thought leaders, organizations, and institutions in collaboration with other marketing leaders.

Team Leadership & Development

Lead a team of professionals, ensuring talent growth, mentorship, and high performance.Develop employees by hiring, coaching, administering performance appraisals, and fostering career progression.Champion company culture, policies, and values, ensuring a positive and engaged work environment.What You Need:Bachelor’s degree required10+ years of work experience required7+ years of medical device or marketing/sales experience preferred4+ years of people management experience preferredProven ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines.Demonstrated success in developing talent strategies and fostering a culture of excellence within marketing organizations.
