Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking Senior Marketing Manager for the beautiful new Barton Creek Resort & Spa!

The Senior Marketing Manager is a tenacious, organized, and results-driven leader responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that maximize revenue and brand awareness for Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role collaborates closely with sales, revenue management, food and beverage, and other department leaders to drive business goals through innovative marketing programs. Additionally, this individual provides oversight and mentorship to the Graphic Design & Content Specialist and Sales & Marketing Administrative Assistant, ensuring brand consistency and excellence across all marketing touchpoints.

Responsibilities

 

Marketing Strategy & Execution

Support the Director of Marketing in developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the resort’s seasonal business goals and customer journey (group, leisure, local, business traveler).Ensure cohesive storytelling across all marketing channels, showcasing the resort’s unique offerings, experiences, and positioning.Collaborate with department leaders and agency partners to develop and manage a resort-wide promotional, content, and activation calendar.Assist in the annual marketing budget and strategic planning process, working closely with the Director of Marketing.

 

Brand & Communications Leadership

Support the Director of Marketing in aligning marketing objectives with commercial goals by collaborating with sales, revenue, and department leaders to ensure strategic execution across all initiatives.Ensure all resort marketing materials, messaging, and branding adhere to Omni Hotels & Resorts standards while reflecting the unique Texas Hill Country positioning.Partner with Omni’s corporate marketing, digital, and CRM/Loyalty teams to maximize brand resources and efficiency.Lead the creation, management, and distribution of all resort photography and video assets, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to maintain an engaging and on-brand visual presence.Act as a key point of contact for agency partners (Social, PR, Digital), ensuring strategic alignment with the resort’s messaging and positioning.

 

Digital & Social Media Strategy

Oversee the resort’s digital presence, working with Omni’s Digital Marketing team to manage online listings (Yelp, Google My Business, TripAdvisor, etc.) and ensure accuracy across all digital storefronts.Develop a strategic monthly content calendar for social media, including content themes, video, still imagery, and engagement strategies to grow the resort’s online presence.Stay informed on marketing trends and competitor activity, making data-driven recommendations to optimize the resort’s digital footprint.

 

Partnerships, Programming & Activations

Work in tandem with the Director of Marketing to develop a robust partnership strategy, fostering relationships with local DMOs, media partners, entertainment entities, and lifestyle brands to enhance resort exposure.Identify, plan, and execute resort programming and activations that drive local engagement, foot traffic, and revenue growth across spa, golf, dining, and recreation.Lead quarterly brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams to ideate, plan, and secure buy-in for resort programming.Play a key role in the ideation, marketing, and execution of signature resort events, collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless planning and promotion. Develop and implement marketing strategies, while also coordinating cross-departmental efforts to bring events to life. Occasional weekend and holiday availability may be needed for high-profile activations.Manage hosted influencer and PR media visits, crafting detailed itineraries, securing reservations, and ensuring high-impact exposure.Oversee content creation for social and PR agencies to amplify resort events, programming, and partnerships.Develop post-event/partnership reports showcasing success metrics and marketing impact for internal stakeholders. Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field.3-5 years of progressive experience in resort marketing, event activation, or brand partnerships, with direct experience in marketing strategy, digital, and communications.Strong creative vision with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and proofreading) with a keen eye for detail.Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop experiential marketing initiatives that drive resort awareness and revenue.

Preferred Skills

Experience with social media strategy, analytics, and reporting.Strong creative, organizational, and project management skills.
