Senior Marketing (Sales) Executive

As a Senior Marketing (Sales) Executive, you will function as an outside sales representative primarily focused on growing new business by prospecting, developing, and closing sales monthly.

The territory for this field-based position covers Mobile, AL and surrounding cities.  The primary focus will be physician offices, physician groups, and healthcare professionals across all primary care and specialty physicians

Duties and responsibilities:

Drives new business and organize an annual book of upsell business, while meeting and exceeding sales growth goals in the assigned territory. Achieves long and short-term sales objectives by providing specialty solutionsServes as a subject matter expert and champion of the Labcorp expansive list of testing solutions for customers and prospective clientsCreates effective customer relationships. Makes in-person visits to clients on a regular basis to provide ongoing customer support, education on focus products, and market updates for customer using sales analytics and insightsActs as a liaison between the client and Labcorp. Collaborates, communicates, and actively contributes to new business opportunities with LabCorp Clinical Sales counterpartsKeeps current with the competition's products, service offerings, and activityStays updated on new products, clinical guidelines, new developments in the industry & research trendsUses market data, sales analytics, and insights to make sales decisions and spots new business opportunitiesProvides updates to senior leadership on key strategic initiatives and new business opportunitiesEstablishes and maintains effective working relationships with all company support departments internallyEffectively manages travel logistics to maximize sales productivityAttends local and national professional trade shows and events as requestedUpdates all relevant customer account information into Salesforce.comCold calls and builds a sales pipeline that will provide ongoing revenue goal achievementAccurately forecasts and maintains a sales funnel of new opportunities in line with a 90-day quotaCollaborates closely with team members to help them retain their current book of businessPerforms in-services, training, and implementation with pertinent personnel and physician staffCollaborates and actively contributes to new business opportunities with LCA counterpartsTravels overnight, as needed

Minimum Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalentPrevious sales or account management experience within the healthcare or medical device industry, 3+ years’ experienceMust have a valid driver's license and clean driving recordCollaborates closely with sales and operations teams to grow the businessRobust consultative selling and closing skillsUnderstands complex scientific literature and use clinical data as a selling factorProficient in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint & Excel, Salesforce.comPersuasive verbal and written communication skillsExceptional time management and organization skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degreePrevious clinical laboratory or diagnostics sales experiencePrevious sales or account management experience within the healthcare or medical device industry, preferably 5+ years’ experienceExperience with Population Health / Value Based Care / Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs)Proficiency in Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Electronic Health Record (EHR), Information Technology (IT) infrastructure
