Senior Materials Operations Coordinator
**Req Number** 149476 Job Description Coordinates Materials Operations for department, providing efficient and effective requisition processing and inventory management to optimize services. Assists in planning department operations and maintains department records. Job Responsibility + Coordinates ordering, verifying, receiving, storing, and distribution of materials, equipment and supplies throughout facility; coordinates inventory control, organizes supplies, rotates stock, and ensures par levels are maintained at central supply locations. + Delivers proficient service through maintenance of efficient requisition processes; monitors requisition processing time frames, inventory service levels, fill rates, and associated expenses. + Serves as a liaison between System Material Management and other departments, vendors, and sales representatives to facilitate the smooth operations of the supply chain process and resolve issues. + Places orders, makes product recommendations, and obtains quotes for items, as requested. + Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders when supplies have not been received are damaged or incorrect; obtains return authorizations and arranges for credits, as needed. + Maintains department records; prepares reports and commentary detailing any deficiencies and planned corrective actions; assists in the evaluation of ordering and spending patterns and makes recommendations for cost saving measures. + Assists with budget preparation; provides training to new hires and staff members, as needed; assists staff with account setups; arranges vendor shows. + Serves as a representative at System Material Management meetings. + Complies with policies, regulatory agencies, and internal inspections. + Performs related duties as required.
