Objectives / Purpose

Gain a good understanding of the Business requirements pertaining to MDM by working in tandem with Business analysts and solution architectsSupport the data profiling activities and gain a good insight into the underlying data quality of various applicationsSupport the design of the MDM application across the different technology components including Hub, Workflow, UI and servicesWork closely with the Solution architects to define the solution components for the MDM application including data models, integration layers

Accountabilities

Develop and implement the Master data management for HCP Master using the Informatica MDM SaaS PlatformPerform data profiling, cleansing and data standardization process and document the data quality observationsDesign and develop data mappings between Source applications and MDM applications to support the batch data loadParticipate in code reviews, testing and performance tuning of the applicationsDocument technical specifications, design decisions and runbook for implementation.Resolve technical issues in the MDM services configuration and regression test bug fixes

DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS

Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise

Proficient in building MDM applications on Informatica’s SaaS PlatformProven experience as a MDM developer for other large HCP ImplementationsStrong knowledge of Medpro, Veeva and other major HCP data sourcesStrong understanding of data modelling, data integration and web servicesExperience with data profiling, data cleansing and data quality integrations with MDM HubKnowledge of data governance and data catalog will be preferred

Leadership

Effectively communicate with varying levels of management i.e. GDT/DDT Executives, GDT/DDT Project Managers, Supplier Representatives, etc.Strong Technical leadership skills to guide technical teams, provide architectural guidenace and drive successful MDM Implementations.Able to influence and drive accountability across organizational and domain boundariesCoordinate, manage and complete primary tasks and special projects with minimal oversight

EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS: 

Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent in a related or directly relevant fieldSkill Certification on Informatica MDM SaaS offering and IDMC PlatformExperience with programming languages such as Java, Python or similarExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailIndepth understanding of healthcare data, HCP data sets and data management concepts.
