Responsibilities Prepare, review and support development of various engineering products associated with mechanical engineering. Engineering products include calculations, drawings, modification packages, purchase/design specifications, and studiesProvide mentoring and training to grow technical expertise of other engineers in specific mechanical engineering areas such as fluid mechanics, HVAC, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, fans, etcPerform subject matter expert reviews of engineering products involving mechanical engineeringCollaborate and ensure effective teamwork with other ENERCON engineering groups for customer support, execution of projects, and business developmentSupport occasional site walkdowns to identify design solutions and develop cost-effective problem resolutionsWork across multi-disciplined teams. Many projects are multi-disciplined and require interface with engineers from other groups and offices Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited universityMinimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the mechanical engineering in the field Extensive expertise with pumps, valves, fans, heat exchangers, and/or HVACExcellent writing, communication, and presentation skillsAbility to travel approximately 10% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, but typically ranging from 1-5 days
