Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Description: Join our dynamic Engineering & Architecture firm as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer! In this role, you'll design and evaluate integrated systems for industrial production processes, focusing on human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics, material flow, cost analysis, and production coordination.
Responsibilities
Design and evaluate integrated systems for industrial production processesUtilize software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Plant 3D for design purposesFocus on human work factors, quality control, inventory control, logistics, and material flowConduct cost analysis and production coordinationDesign building systems and facility layoutsProvide guidance and support to entry-level mechanical engineersFocus on applying and finding conveyors that work rather than designing gears and beltsEssential Skills
8-10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering within the manufacturing/industrial settingProficiency in mechanical design and facility designStrong skills in Revit and AutoCADBackground in industrial designProfessional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred, but not mandatoryAdditional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with AutoCAD Electrical 3D and Mechanical 3DAbility to become a resource for other engineersIn-house continuing education classes that provide credit for AIA, IIDA, RLA, & PEExam reimbursement upon successful completionWork Environment:

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00
