Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Description

•\tCollaborate with electronics and software engineers to integrate their efforts within the product development team.

•\tBeing apart of the processes from conception to production.

•\tRevision of existing products and new product development.

•\tDevelop prototypes for testing and conduct evaluations to identify design issues or opportunities for improvements.

•\tDocument designs including 3D Models, Drawings and Assembly Procedures.

•\tResponsible for the physical design of instruments, including electromechanical, fluidic and optical components.

•\tIdentify & troubleshoot problems through entire product life cycle.

•\tNew Product Development & New Product Introduction.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field (physics, applied math, electrical engineering, chemistry). Master’s Degree a plus.

• 8-10 Years as a mechanical engineer (or related) involved in the design of innovative electromechanical systems.

• Must have significant experience working in a multi-disciplinary project team, with a proven record of design innovation.

• Familiarity with 3-D CAD modeling is required; Creo Parametric experience is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $150000.00/hr.
