Actalent Services is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for a large Engineering & Architecture Firm

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of mechanical building systems for industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on designing efficient, safe, and sustainable industrial spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the mechanical design process for industrial facility projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systemsDevelop detailed mechanical designs using CAD software, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, electrical engineers, and project managers, to integrate mechanical systems into overall facility designsConduct site visits and assessments to gather data and ensure designs are feasible and meet client requirementsPrepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentationOversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems, providing technical support and troubleshooting as neededEnsure all designs are optimized for energy efficiency and sustainabilityMentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and design team membersStay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldMinimum of 7-10 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, with a focus on industrial facility designProficiency in Revit software, and other design toolsStrong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systemsFamiliarity with industry standards and codes (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA)Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferred

Skills:

Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems and their application in industrial settingsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsProficiency in project management and leadership

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
