Job Summary:

Our client is a global Engineering Design and Project Management Firm.  On the heels of successfully growing their market share during and post pandemic, with greater than 24+ months of project pipelines, their Building Services group is expanding their Mechanical Engineering service line across Ontario.  You would be groomed to be their next Mechanical Department Manager

Job Duties:

Mechanical Engineering and Design including but not limited to:Heat transfer calculationsHeating and cooling equipment sizingPipe sizing and pump selectionSizing pipes for domestic water and sanitary drain systemsSizing duct systems for air distribution systemsControl schematics and sequence of operationsLayout of fire protection systemsFeasibility studies and building condition assessmentsCommunicate with clients, contractors and sales reps, prepare project documentation and coordinate with other engineering disciplinesConduct field reviews and complete construction administration (shop drawings, RFIs, CCNs, monthly draws, etc.)
 Job Qualifications:Candidates with a minimum of 10-15+ years experience are encouraged to applyP.EngUniversity degree in Mechanical EngineeringFamiliarity with AutoCAD; experience with Revit and assetPro-active approach to work assignments and opportunitiesAbility to multi-task and be organized, especially under the stress of deadlinesStrong leadership skillsDesire to work within a team environment and work across multiple officesExcellent written and oral communication skillsJob 1612-R5
