Job Title: Senior Mechanical EngineerJob Description We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer responsible for designing automated equipment from concept through completion. This role involves heavy customer interfacing and overseeing projects from concept through design. The engineer will work with other engineers to support machine designs, components, and drawings along with part selection. The role requires both desk work for design and hands-on work on the manufacturing floor to ensure equipment functionality from a mechanical perspective. The engineer will help set timelines with customers and internal teams, along with manufacturing and engineering documentation. Hard Skills + SolidWorks design experience + Ability to design from scratch in SolidWorks + Experience designing large capital equipment + Creating drawings from start to finish in SolidWorks or Inventor + Knowledge of industry standards for machinery safety and guarding + Understanding of motion control applications and operator interface design Soft Skills + Strong project management skills + Experience interfacing with customers to assure accurate requirements throughout the design phase Job Type This is a permanent position.
