Hire Resolve is excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer for an Oil & Gas company based in Gauteng. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing and optimizing mechanical systems for various projects, ensuring quality and efficiency throughout the engineering process.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry standards. Conduct detailed engineering analysis and calculations to support design decisions. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to drive project success and innovation. Prepare technical documentation, including design reports, specifications, and drawings. Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing leadership and technical support. Review and critique project designs to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and constraints. Participate in site visits to evaluate the implementation of designs and assist with troubleshooting.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or a related discipline. NO Btech Degrees will be accepted. A minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering. Age 40-50 yrs Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is desirable. Proven experience in the design and implementation of mechanical systems. Proficiency in CAD and relevant engineering software. Strong understanding of engineering principles, codes, and regulations. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Experience in project management is an advantage.
