Job Title: Experienced Mechanical Engineer Job Description We are seeking a Licensed (PE) Mechanical Engineer with over 12 years of experience in the design of HVAC and plumbing systems for science and technology buildings. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and process piping design, as well as P&ID documentation. Responsibilities + Design HVAC systems for commercial and institutional buildings. + Develop plumbing and process piping designs. + Create and maintain P&ID documentation. + Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders on project requirements. + Ensure designs meet industry standards and client specifications. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. + 12+ years of experience in HVAC system design. + Proficient in Revit. + Licensed Professional Engineer (PE). + Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and process piping design. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus. + Carrier load design experience. + 15+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design. + Knowledge of engineering principles and practices. Work Environment This is a hybrid opportunity working in a small, privately held office. The team consists of one electrical engineer, and the company offers yearly bonuses ranging from 10-50% of salary, depending on title.
