We are currently hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer who will be a key member within the GA-EMS Radar Technologies group.  In this capacity, the Mechanical Engineer will contribute to the designs and trade studies in support of new air and ground-based designs. The Mechanical Engineer will report to the Manager of Hardware Engineering within the Radar Technologies group.      

DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:Collaborate on concept reviews to define mechanical requirements and specificationsDesign and integrate parts, subassemblies, and assemblies into a mechanical solution, including cooling and structural systemsSpecify and source components with knowledge of industry standardsCreate standardized mechanical drawings to communicate with manufacturersImplement prototypes and iterative design improvements to enhance performance, reliability, and efficiencyContribute to test instrumentation setup and operation to prove out concepts of production components
