We are seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to join our team as a mechanical engineering analyst specializing in

high-reliability electro-mechanical packaging of precision RF electronics.

This role involves working on both small units and complex multi-units for commercial and aerospace (Hi-Reliability) systems.

Top 3 Must-Have Skills:

Mechanical Design Proficiency: Extensive experience with 3D Mechanical Design Software (AutoCad REV 2022, AutoCad Inventor 2022, and Autodesk Vault preferred).Military Specifications Knowledge: Familiarity with MIL-STD-810 and -880 as they apply to board and box-level products.Shock and Vibration Testing: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with shock and vibration testing.

Key Responsibilities:

Independently and collaboratively solve design and manufacturing issues for satellite sub-systems.Apply military specifications (MIL-STD-810 and -880) to board and box-level products.Utilize 3D Mechanical Design Software (AutoCad REV 2022, AutoCad Inventor 2022, and Autodesk Vault preferred).Conduct drafting, dimensioning, and tolerance analysis.Perform shock and vibration testing.

Education and Required Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.7+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis.Proficiency in ANSYS V11 and Inventor Autodesk 2010 preferred.Knowledge of GDT is preferred.Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.Broad understanding of manufacturing tools and weight vs. strength trade-offs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $175000.00/yr.

9/80 work weeks. Employees complete 80 hours of week in 9 days and have every other Friday off (three day weekend every other weekend)
Company provides contractors with paid holidays (matching internal employee holidays) after 30 days
Company is located near public transportation
