Our MEP team in Copenhagen is a core driver of Arup's commitment to sustainable development. The team consists of eight highly skilled engineers specializing in electrical, mechanical, and fire engineering. We are passionate about delivering energy-efficient and innovative solutions that minimize environmental impact. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you'll contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects across Scandinavia and internationally, collaborating with experts from various disciplines.
The Opportunity
You will be responsible for the leading design of multi-disciplinary projects in the healthcare and science and industry sectors, leading the mechanical design input to these projects and management of junior resources.

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer -Arup, you will:
· Project Planning and Design Management
· Review of contract documentation and specifications
· Designing and reviewing design work of intermediate and junior engineers
· Coordination of work with all members of design teams (architect, engineers of all disciplines, QS etc.)
· Ensuring that all designs and documents are prepared in accordance with Arup quality management standards
· Estimating and Cost Control on projects
· Compiling project reports
· Mentoring and development of junior and intermediate engineers in the group
Does this role inspire you?
· Degree in Mechanical Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Public Health Engineering
· Experience in the design and delivery of complex projects
· Experience in design management
· Minimum 8 years post-qualification design experience
· Technically excellent with in-depth knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
· Experience in a range of medium to large-scale projects
· Organised and adaptable with a flexible approach to work
· Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
· Competent in relevant design software
· A strong ability to communicate with the team and clients through sketching, drawing and in writing
· Fluent in Danish.
