Senior Mechanical Engineer (Aerospace & Medical Device)

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. **Key Responsibilities:** · Creates and documents process instructions, tooling, and fixtures. · Collaborate with customers and coworkers to resolve product/process issues. · Creates and maintains drawings CAD files to produce parts based upon customer specifications. · Collaborate with production and quality team members to troubleshoot manufacturing issues. · Responsible for planning and performing design & development tasks from concept to implementation. · Responsible for studying and evaluating disciplinary or interdisciplinary aspects of new product or design concepts, including all necessary functions leading to presentation and recommendation of possible solutions. · Experience with VISUAL MRP a Plus **Minimum Qualifications:** · 10 years of working experience as a Mechanical Engineer · BS degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience · Experience drafting and performing tolerance studies · Experience in using measurement instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.) · Experience with drafting software and GD&T (SolidWorks) · Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
