ResponsibilitiesSystem Maintenance and Repair:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Haskel-based systems, including OTPA, RDOTPS, and other oxygen transfer and compression systems.Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair system malfunctions to minimize downtime.Disassemble, clean, reassemble, and test system components to ensure optimal performance and compliance with operational standards.Military Life Support Systems:
Conduct maintenance and repair on military life support systems, ensuring they meet safety and functionality requirements.Inspect, calibrate, and test equipment to verify compliance with military and manufacturer standards.Maintain detailed records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed.Technical Expertise:
Utilize technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair equipment.Stay updated on system upgrades, modifications, and best practices for maintaining Haskel-based systems and military life support equipment.Provide recommendations to improve maintenance processes and system reliability.Training and Support:
Train junior technicians and operators on the proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Haskel-based systems and life support equipment.Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to address equipment-related challenges and ensure mission readiness.Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to military, industry, and safety regulations.Conduct risk assessments and follow established safety protocols during all repair and maintenance activities. Qualifications 10 years or more experience repairing and maintaining military life support systems IAW MIL-STD-1330D10 years of experience performing maintenance of such as the Oxygen Transfer Pump Assembly (OTPA) or Rapid Deployable Oxygen Transfer Pump System (RDOTPS). Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.Haskel Pump Certified (Desired)AVIAN is a service-based organization.
