The Opportunity:

CACI is looking for a skilled Senior Microsoft Endpoint Management (MEM) Engineer, specializing in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM, formerly SCCM) to support the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) program.  The candidate will join a team of engineers responsible for engineering and implementing an enterprise Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) Solution.  The UEM solution shall be capable of managing all Windows endpoints on a classified government network.

On the EITaaS program, CACI will deliver enhanced capabilities and services to implement and operate an enterprise ITSM solution, enterprise service desk, endpoint management and security solution, as well as CONUS/OCONUS field support and life cycle support for end user devices to enable the DAF to transition focus from IT operations to mission operations.

Serve as the experienced MECM SME assisting with the design and implementation of the MECM solution for the Department of the Air Force (DAF) classified network.  Work with and mentor a team of engineers to implement a solution aligned to industry best practices and capable of maximizing automation for all aspects of endpoint management.


Responsibilities:

Design a scalable MECM infrastructure capable of managing all active endpointsEstablishing procedures based on industry best practices for both routine and zero-day patch managementDeploy applications and application updates based on defined criteriaSupport other operations and engineering team in reported issues related to failed patches or applications and conflicts related to patchingCreate documentation/SOPs for new procedures and manual steps to complete tasks for soft hand-offs and cross-training of support personnel Operate and maintain the overall MECM infrastructure supporting the enterpriseTrack all relevant SLA/SLOs and provide reports as requiredCollaborate with DAF enterprise and program security teams to ensure requirements are met within allotted timeframesCommunicate effectively and collaboratively with customers, stakeholders, and peers


Qualifications:

Required: 

Active DoD secret clearance is required12+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (additional 5+ years of recent relevant experience may be substituted for degree, for total of 17+ years of experience)IAT Level II compliant (ex: Security+ Certification)Experience working in a DoD classified environmentExperience designing and deploying MECM in large, geographically distributed environmentsExperience testing, deploying, and troubleshooting the installation of Microsoft and third-party software updatesExperience building/deploying application packages in SCCM 2012/MECM Current BranchExperience deploying PXE OSD capabilities for a geographically distributed networkExperience managing Windows Servers and WorkstationsExperience implementing DOD STIG requirementsFamiliarity with ITILv4Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologiesStrong skills with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio) and SharePointExcellent verbal and written communication skills

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$102,900 - $216,200
