Job Description

The Senior Media Planner reports to the Media Strategy Director and provides digital media recommendations to clients both internal and external, and prepares and implements media plans and other deliverables.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Strategy Development: Work with the team to identify strategies across multiple digital channels (display, search, social, and video)Utilize attribution, media mix modeling and planning tools (Google Attribution 360, Nielsen, Neustar) to pull audience consumption, reports and forecast target goals.Develop digitally neutral media plans, flighting recommendations and forecast attributable performance across all channels and campaigns.Plan Development: compile plan specifics, assign budgets, run reach and frequency reports, and perfectly finalize all client-facing documents.Manage client budgets, investments, and purchase authorization process.Work with wider planning and analytics team to produce insightful campaign reports with optimization recommendations while media is live.Work with teams (Paid Search, Display, Analytics) to manage processesKnowledge of campaign performance measurement and demonstrate how to improve different KPIs depending on client objectives and consistently deliver strong results through testing and ongoing optimization.Monitor digital landscape and identify trends/partners for upcoming campaigns.

QualificationsDemonstrate experience having worked on advanced or large-scale media campaigns within an agency or client environmentUnderstanding of attribution or quantitative skillsExperience with interactive research tools (i.e. ComScore, Pathmatics, et al)Knowledge and passion for all things Digital Media and keep up to date on the evolving digital landscape, and how digital fits into the marketing planUnderstanding of media concepts and terms, creative and budget requirementsExperience with Google Workspace, PowerPoint, Word, and advanced knowledge of Excel (can perform complex functions)5+ years of experience creating detailed demos that are tailored to customers' pain points.Project Management and, Research and Client-facing experience with attention to detail skills.
