Jobs in this function provide coding and coding auditing services directly to providers. This includes the analysis and translation of medical and clinical diagnoses, procedures, injuries, or illnesses into designated numerical codes.
**Hours** : Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM
**Location** : 1615 Orange Tree Ln, Redlands, CA. Fully Remote.

**Required Qualifications:**
+ High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
+ 1+ years of knowledge in medical coding and HCC reimbursement requirements
+ 1+ years of experience with ICD 10 Coding and CPT Coding as well as some HCPC Coding
+ 1+ years of experience analyzes medical records to ensure accurate coding and sends provider feedback to improve the quality of documentation
+ 1+ years of coding medical records using coding classifications to ensure data integrity and proper assignments
+ 1+ years of experience collecting and abstracting data elements
+ 1+ years of experience addressing unbilled and incomplete records
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ May train new staff and answering specialty related process questions
**California Residents Only:** The hourly range for California residents is $23.22 to $45.43 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
