Our customers use our tools to push the boundaries of technology and physics to deliver better products in the increasingly sophisticated world of chip, board, and system design.Key Responsibilities:As a member of the team, you will be responsible for crafting, developing, and implementing software solutions across the full development lifecycle. This includes writing functional specifications, developing algorithms, and conducting detailed testing. You will play a crucial role in measuring and improving product quality by ensuring meticulous testing and optimizing performance. Collaborating with a diverse, multidisciplinary team, you will work to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs. Additionally, you will chip in to the creation of test plans, ensure smooth deployment of software, and actively engage in using and advancing industry-standard technologies. Required Qualifications:2–5 years of shown experience in C/C++ programming with strong object-oriented design skills.Strong proficiency with GUI development tools such as Qt.Deep understanding of algorithms and data structures with strong theoretical analysis capabilities.Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive demeanor toward learning new technologies.Proven experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.Experience with Agile software development methodologies.Desired Skills and Experience:Experience in Image Processing and familiarity with EDA applications (e.g., defect inspection, source mask optimization).Proficiency in version control systems like Git.Practical knowledge of Scrum and defect tracking tools (JIRA, Clear-Quest).Strong skills in scripting languages such as Python or TCL.Excellent problem-solving, consulting, and teamwork abilities.Familiarity with design patterns, CMake, and Makefiles.We are SiemensA collection of over 377,000 minds building the future, one day at a time in over 200 countries.
