Through an evidenced based treatment approach, the clinician uses a recovery model to promote the wellbeing of patients and families served. The clinician completes assessments, implements treatment plans, and evaluates the options and services required to meet the patient needs for positive outcomes. The clinician primarily provides group therapy, individual and family counseling. Additional responsibilities may include psychosocial assessments, treatment planning and discharge planning. The clinician works collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to meet patient treatment goals. The facilitation of patient specific legal and patient rights referral/processes may also be required of the clinician. This position may provide care in any area of the Mental Health & Wellness Clinical Institute to assist patients/families.

Required qualifications:
Master's Degree in Social Work or Psychology or Ph.D. in Psychology. California Clinical Social Worker License upon hire or California Professional Counselor License upon hire or California Marriage and Family Therapist License upon hire or California Psychologist License upon hire. 5 years Work experience. 5 years Professional Practice Model Clinical Ladder: Experience as a proficient clinician.Why Join Providence?
