Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior MEP Practice Builder with a strong healthcare focus to expand our MEP practice in Seattle, WA!

Responsibilities Project Management role is in conjunction with lead engineer responsibilities.Requires the ability to oversee the MEP design of projects from concept to completion, including continuous interface with the design team and clients.Proven design experience with comfort and MEP systems and related controlsStrong verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking abilityWrite responses to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications for various clients and marketing opportunitiesAbility to work individually or in a multi-discipline teamMentor and coordinate the work of designers and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projectsManage and deliver tasks under minimal supervision and guidanceStrong desire to grow and lead a MEP practiceOur Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentorThe successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their businessWith success, this individual will enjoy the rewards of an impressive bonus program with the potential to advance to ownership Qualifications 15+ years of related experienceRegistered Professional Engineer (P.E.) licenseProven design experience with comfort and MEP systems and related controlsProven design experience with plumbing systems including water, sewer, and gasExperience producing engineering and energy studies including comcheck, Title 24Experience mentoring and coordinating the work of EITs, designers, and other technical staff on various mechanical or multi-discipline projectsAble to manage and deliver tasks under minimal supervision and guidanceExperience in AutoCAD and Revit is a plusStrong verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking abilityAbility to work individually or in a multi-discipline team

Base Salary Range:
