Summary:
Advance Auto Parts is seeking a dynamic Senior Merchandising Administrator to provide critical support to their Merchandising teams based in the Raleigh N.C.. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in analyzing contractual incentive programs for Vendors or other key constituents. This role involves ensuring timely execution of contractual arrangements as well as ensuring that all vendor related incentives are communicated to AAP’s Vendor Incentives team, which is part of our Controllership organization. This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that the candidate will work 4 days a week in our offices in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the Merchandising team in the areas of contract execution, as well as complete execution of all short team incentive agreements.Monitor all changes to current contractual agreements, ensuring that any changes to incentive programs are properly recorded in tracking master logs and communicated to key stakeholders in Legal and ControllershipThrough close collaboration with the Merchant Team, ensure that all Vendor Contracts are current and accurately reflect the most recently negotiated incentive terms.Ensure that all current Vendor contracts are stored in key locations for access by key stakeholders in Merchandising, Controllership and Legal.Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key Vendors to ensure timely collaboration related to contractual agreements and reimbursement of agreed upon incentives.Maintain a continuous improvement mindset, always looking for opportunities to streamline current processes.Ad hoc projects, as necessarySkills:
Strong working knowledge of contracts, and the ability to review and comprehend financial terms within a contract.Very high level of attention to detail.Extremely well organized. Able to manage inputs from multiple sources and outputs to multiple key stakeholders.The ability to collaborate and build strong working relationships across multiple functional areas including Legal and Controllership.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsUnderstanding of US GAAP and other accounting principles are a definite plus.Advanced Microsoft office suite skillsTeam player who also works well independentlyMust be able to communicate effectively in both an oral and written manner.Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business or training as a legal secretary or assistant.3+ years of experience ideally reviewing, analyzing and recording incentives from key constituents, ideally Vendors. Strong experience dealing directly with Vendors and/or Procurement will be strongly considered.#LI-GG1
