The Merchandising Drafter Manager serves as the leader of the Merchandising drafter team and will manage all updates of the AutoZone Store specific AutoCAD layout files: 1) Merchandise text ,2) Floor display, and the 3) location code layers for all new stores, remodels and existing stores. Maintain and manage the weekly update of all three layers and the 'hyper links' to the associated planograms and Zaps. Creates and manages AutoLISP programs to manage high volume category floor layout updates and to create capacity and category adjacency reporting. Key Responsibilities: + Manage all New and existing AZ store specific layout layers :1) merchandise text 2) floor display/off shelf and 3) location codes. Assist merchandising. Assist Merchandising dept in identifying category opportunities utilizing floor layout data only available in AutoCAD. + Reporting merchandise category adjacency information and store specific queries for analysis on where product is located in specific stores and assisting Marketing on signage activity and placements. + Training. Review and update merchandise drafters on any new AutoCAD AutoLISP programs created in-house and assist with any AutoCAD enhancements and upgrade training. Education and/or Experience: + B.A. or B.S in related field + 3-5 years of relevant experience Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: + Advanced AutoCAD Functional Competencies: + Technical: Ability to write and understand the AutoCAD and AutoLISP scripting language = Advanced Specialized knowledge of techniques and processes Benefits at AutoZone AutoZone cares about people.
