A Mergers and Acquisition (M&A)/ Legal Senior Business Analyst is an experienced professional responsible for leading complex projects and initiatives, mentoring junior analysts, and acting as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. Your Responsibilities on the Team 

Lead the analysis of complex business problems and opportunitiesDevelop comprehensive business requirements and specificationsLead the design, testing, and implementation of new systems and enhancementsConduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training to end-usersCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentationDesign and implement business process improvementsCoordinate and facilitate meetings with stakeholders at all levelsAbility to lead and organize meetings and deliverablesPrepare and present detailed reports and recommendationsMentor and guide junior analystsDetermine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information, and evaluating output requirements and formatsConstruct workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, and writing specificationsImprove systems by studying current practices and designing modificationsRecommend controls by identifying problems and developing improved proceduresDefine project requirements by managing project milestones, forming project teams, and establishing project budgetsMonitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actionsMaintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidentialPrepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trendsContribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededValidate resource requirements and develop cost estimate modelsConduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational, and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programs of the client groupInterpret, evaluate, and interrelate research data to develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-makingPlan and coordinate the development of primary and secondary market research studies in support of strategic planning and specific marketing initiatives as required and present findings to client committeesPerform daily, weekly, and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reportsReview a variety of areas including operations, purchasing, inventory, distribution, and facilitiesUnderstand and communicate the financial and operational impact of any changesSuggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changesCreate informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvementConduct insightful, ad hoc analysis to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, legal or a related field (Master’s degree beneficial)Minimum 5-8 years of experience in business analysis or a related role5 years minimum in a mergers and acquisitions and legal business analyst or related roleExtensive knowledge of business processes, project management, and technology systemsExpertise in business analysis methodologies and toolsProficiency with advanced data analysis and reporting toolsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skillsStrategic thinker with the ability to see the big pictureHigh level of analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong leadership and mentoring abilitiesHigh level of professionalism and integrityExperience/knowledge of the following:Jira, ConfluenceSharePointApptioData AnalyticsPowerBISQLCyber Security & Security Best PracticesServiceNow

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:
