Senior MI Research Manager
Job Description SummaryBuild and implement technical and clinical research strategies to advanced the Molecular Imaging business. This includes alignment of external collaborations to product roadmap, evidence generation for product launch, and support post-market clinical evidence needs to drive market acceptance of GEHC PET, SPECT, and Radiopharmacy technology.

Roles and Responsibilities

Define and manage research portfolios that support registration & promotion of MI technology in the United States and Canada and surrounding markets.Manage budgets and support resource allocation in coordination with global project portfolioPartner with external KOL's on study development, representing GEHC MI needs and interests in these discussions and alignment on mutually aligned research objectives.Work cross functionality with engineering, legal, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, and others to ensure compliance to GEHC processes and standards are maintainedBring research findings and clinical insights back into organization - supporting activation of evidence in internal and external channelsIn-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.Develop best practices, coordinating with region teams on topic prioritization, research strategies, and ensuring alignment to global needs. Be voice of GEHC MI research needs and vision. Represent GEHC at key conferences and other industry/academic forums.Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.

Required Qualifications

Masters level or equivalent experience in technical or clinical field relevant to Molecular ImagingMinimum 8 years experience working in MI imaging industry. Knowledge of technical principles/tradeoffs.Ability to travel 5-10%Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross functionally with diverse teamsDemonstrated ability to synthesize multiple inputs into coherent strategiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal/relationships skillsDemonstrated ability to efficiently manage multiple competing projects and initiativesSelf directed and able to network within matrixed organizations to accomplish tasks

Desired Characteristics

PhD in technical or clinical field relevant to MI imaging.Experience with clinical research regulations, implementation, and complianceExisting network of key opinion leaders of MI researchers
