Overview
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior MicroStation Designer to assist on a variety of public and private sector infrastructure projects in our Buffalo and Rochester offices!
Colliers Engineering & Design offers aspiring engineers the opportunity to work on a very diverse range of bridge and structural projects, often complex in nature for a wide spectrum of clients. Responsibilities
+ Produce CAD drawings for new or reconstructed bridges and structures
+ Prepare quantity take-offs from CAD and surface model files
+ Prepare reinforcing bar detailing for reinforced concrete structures
+ Apply and integrate various client CAD standards into CAD templates
+ May develop 3D CAD models for substructures, grading and alignments/profiles
+ Assist the engineering and project management team with the development of CAD design methodology and practices
+ Perform drawing QA/QC on work products from other CADD design and engineering staff
Qualifications
+ Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or a related discipline
+ 5-15 years of CADD bridge/structure design experience
+ Proficient in Microstation, AutoCAD or Civil 3D
+ Willing to work independently and with others as a team member
+ Interested in work in a team setting with strong collaboration skills
+ Proficient in written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
Compensation: $34.00 to $47.00 per hour (depending on qualifications)
