Senior Mobility Project Lead

Job Profile Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for leading both process and technology projects across the GE Vernova Mobility & Immigration function. This will include leading the transformation of the technology stack, determining if tools are fit for purpose and drive changes as required in partnership with EY and driving simplification to improve user experience. You will also be responsible for leading the TMLA project as related to the Mobility and Immigration function and drive any applicable updates required.  
 

Roles and Responsibilities  

Partner with internal customers and stakeholders for requirement gathering and obtaining product feedback, resulting in development of a multi-generational project strategy, to deliver on expected customer satisfaction outcomes & drive functional cost savings.    

Partner with EY to lead the transition to more standardize tools and processes, ensuring simplification of process and driving improved UX.   

Work directly with global technical teams, both internal DT and vendor provided, to execute projects.  

Design, implement & enforce enterprise standards for both process and tools. Provide guidance to mobility partners, and HR on appropriate utilization of tools & process. Provide operational backup support for immigration/mobility process questions/concerns.  

Track requirements, stakeholder expectations, key milestones, testing progress and project health and provide regular updates to customers and senior leadership. 

Partner with customers, business partners, product leaders and wider technical teams to deliver LEAN processes across functions.  

Manage escalations/resolve issues relating to internal GE Vernova tools and processes. Leverage expertise to work collaboratively across teams both internally and externally providing guidance to resolve issues.  

Communicates directly with stakeholders and explains complex information in a clearly defined manner.  

Lead the business critical TMLA project for required mobility & immigration changes.  

Liaison between M&I Operations, DT team, suppliers and Vernova stakeholders to address gaps/issues – facilitate change control process and sprint ticket management system 

Support MOR and associated metrics, KPIs and dashboards. Engage with key stakeholders across IT to provide analysis and ensure relevant KPIs are accurately measured. 

 

Desired Characteristics  

Demonstrated project management leadership expertise, including ability to ability to document, plan, market and execute programs.  

Deep domain expertise  of existing GE Vernova mobility platforms & processes (eg. Mobilization tool, GE Moves, Workday). 

Ability to think creatively and strategically to drive the best outcomes in a timely fashion for a smooth employee experience and reduction in tools and systems 

Strong oral and communication skills, able to communicate complex messages.  

Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. 

Experience using lean management tools/metrics to improve processes and define standard work.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus.
