As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will develop the best injection mould solutions possible with focus on quality and adherence to production platforms. Further, your responsibilities and tasks of the role will cover: + Strong involvement with stakeholders to understand current production platforms, the future roadmaps and mould solutions + Ensuring appropriate risk mitigation and innovative solutions through your professional expertise within mould development + Development of our working processes and standards, and optimizing tools, concepts and production platforms (LEAN and in LEGO® Continuous Improvement Program **Play your part in our team succeeding** We work closely with the element developers to get the best possible start for new LEGO® moulds. In this cooperation we focus on design for manufacturing and prototypes of various kinds; Cast or 3D printed, CAE, etc. One of our deliveries is a mould design draft which is a description of the element layout, Inlet/cooling conditions etc. Our focus is thus the whole process from element design until the mold is ready to be used for production. We secure frame setting with our collaborators across the company to manage complexity. Our team of 11 employees succeed together, and we value an informal and trusting work environment. **Do you have what it takes?** Ideally, you have a proven experience working as a mechanical engineer, toolmaker, or mould designer within the areas of plastics or moulding. Moreover, you bring: + A solid experience in injection moulding + An end-to-end perspective creating high quality moulds + Experience using 3D CAD system + Strong collaboration and communication skills + A high EQ being a team player, adaptable and passionate for succeeding as a team + An eye for details and high quality Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
