Senior Multifunctional Capability Developments Analyst
Summary About the Position: Works under the general direction of the Chief U.S. ARMY FUTURES & CONCEPTS CENTER FUTURES INTEGRATION DIRECTORATE (FID) FIRES DIVISION Futures and Concepts Center (FCC) located at Fort Eustis,VA. Responsibilities Serves, as Chief, Field Artillery Branch and senior Fires functional area staff manager and technical advisor to the Fires Division Chief. Reviews and coordinates Field Artillery projects to include capstone requirements which effect and influence more than one agency. Provides technical supervision and management on matters relating to the integration of "systems of systems” requirements. Chairs special study groups to prepare and prioritize positions and otherwise represent Army requirements at high level discussions with DoD. Plans work to be accomplished, interprets policy, procedures and established priorities. Serves as a principal staff technical advisor to the Director, FID, Deputy Director and Director FCC on Field Artillery. Provides technical expertise in the area of Field Artillery analyses, evaluations and assessments. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience which includes the following: 1. Determining program goals and developing internal policies, directives, and plans; 2. Performing as a Technical Advisor pertaining to Military Field Artillery planning, support, and execution; 3. Providing sound analytical advice in matters relating to operational and management issues; AND 4. Lead a team of employees to ensure continuity of assigned work. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Accountability Leadership Project Management Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
