In the role of Senior NEPA Project Manager, we'll count on you to:
Provide leadership, coordination, and technical expertise for NEPA projectsManage NEPA-related tasks to support successful project completion, including establishing schedule and sequencing tasks; coordinating staffing, workload, and deadlines with technical staff; and implementing quality assurance/quality control procedures.Direct and oversee teams preparing NEPA documents and associated technical reportsConduct work sessions for deliverable development in conjunction with other staff and stakeholdersWork as part of a dynamic team including technical experts, client representatives, project design team members, project controls specialists, document managers, and agency representativesProvide clients and project teams with strategic advice regarding how to meet environmental regulatory requirementsManage and coach project teams and act as a mentor for less experienced environmental team membersEstablish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design, and production meetingsDirect and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project’s lifecycleTrack financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and scheduleWork with the Accounting, Operational, and Business leadership for periodic project reviewsPerform other duties as needed Candidates must be able to work cooperatively with professionals from other disciplines, staff at all levels, clients, other project managers, business development professionals, and operational leadership. Additional duties may include collaborating with project team members to interpret statutes and regulations to inform overall environmental compliance strategies, evaluate quantitative and qualitative environmental data, write technical reports, and develop federal, state, and local environmental permit applications. This is a full-time regular position based in our Anchorage, Alaska office. Preferred QualificationsA license/certificationPMP certificationFamiliar with Primavera P3 or SureTrak software preferredFamiliar with Prolog software preferredOver 10 years of experience managing NEPA processes for Alaska-based projects#LI-JM8
Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in related field 10 years related experience A minimum of 5 years of project management experience Familiar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, project management softwareMust have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
