Responsibilities in this position will include:
You will implement a wide variety of IT solutions with assistance from the rest of our experienced professionalsDeploying and monitoring advanced networking solutions including SD-WAN, Firewalls and remote access solutions across a global footprintTesting and deployment of collaboration solutions including cloud based virtual desktops, global file shares and proxies/zero-trust techniques to facilitate easier access for remote workMaintenance of existing Private and Public Cloud services including Virtual Desktops with full GPU support, Azure AD, Teams, etc.Maintenance of existing Windows Infrastructure – Active Directory, Group Policy, Intune, SQL, etc.Present information in a clear manner to internal, client and public audiencesQualifications
Key attributes of the successful candidate
6-8 years’ experience in a related environment (multi-site, multi-country network with thousands of devices)Advanced level knowledge in at least three of the following areas:Knowledge of routing protocols, routing, switchingExperience with multi-vendor networks (Cisco, Meraki, PaloAlto, VeloCloud, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, SonicWALL and more are relevant)Wireless design and configuration Layer 7 firewall managementSD-WAN configuration and troubleshootingRemote access technologies utilizing zero trust architecture techniques – application proxies, identity management, device compliance, role-based network ACLsArchitecture and equipment specifications for different size customers and price points from small to very large networks.Azure AD identity management experience, including context aware MFA and password self-serviceSecurity – Endpoint Detection and Response, alert management, awareness of Threat Actors and TTPsVirtualization – Servers, Virtual Desktops with Graphics, Network Devices, DR and runbooksEndpoint Management – at scale and with client systems scattered around the worldDeep OS architecture knowledgeA desire for continuous learningConfiguration Management at scale – Infrastructure as CodeScripting experience – PowerShell, python or otherStrong communication skillsCustomer service commitment, Business PartnerOther useful experience would include:
Prior experience in an IT consulting position is helpful but not requiredBachelor’s degree in related fieldRelevant certifications – GIAC, Microsoft, Cisco, othersReport writing skillsTraining in intrusion detection, incident response with targeted forensics, threat intelligence, managing security awareness and vulnerability management programsAuditing of existing networks for external customersExperience in the Architectural/Engineering/Construction sectorExperience with PKI – certificate creation, signing
