Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Germantown, MD. Responsibilities: * Senior Network Engineer will design, implement, troubleshoot, and manage routing and switching of Enterprise Customers' terrestrial networks * Ensure the secure transmission of network traffic through network nodes * Work on different vendors like Cisco, Fortinet, Meraki, Velcloud, Cradlepoint products to build and manage Customer networks * Enable new features in networking devices and implement network systems improvements to enhance network performance and reliability * Configure and support Enterprise Customers' routers and switches with networking protocols to ensure seamless communication among network devices * As a Senior Network Engineer, you will work on Windows and Linux servers to troubleshoot network issues and to analyze network performance * Perform firmware upgrades on networking devices for bug fixes and enhancements * Use Python Programming Language for config management in cloudify orchestration system and use Python to automate processes
