*The range provided is based on cost of living/geography and what we believe is reasonable in the market at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for annual bonus and annual merit increase, as well as long term compensation. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors.

As a Sr. Network Engineer, you will work with the Novolex Enterprise Service Delivery Team and partner with the greater IT organization to deliver high-quality network services for a multi-site, fast-paced global enterprise. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, design, security, and implementation of our enterprise network services and solutions.

In addition to possessing a sound technical background, the candidate must be proficient in managing complex projects through to completion, bring an innovative approach and solutions to complex challenges, ensure security is at the forefront of solutioning, and be self-motivated and driven. Excellent communication skills and documentation abilities are also required.

Responsible for design, development, implementation, support and analysis of voice and data communications networks. Designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure in multi-region and multi-cloud environments. Shared responsibility for architecture, design, and deployment of fault tolerant voice and data networks including disaster recovery Managing network services including but not limited to: TCP/IP, VoIP, BGP, EIGRP, HSRP, VPN, firewall, WAF, IPS, CDN, proxy, load balancing, and DNS. Experience working with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.) Document network architecture and configuration, technical operating procedures, and policies. Monitoring system availability and performance, packet analysis, identifying and resolving issues proactively, provide trending and capacity analysis and collaborating with external partners. Report network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information and managing projects using transparency and a metric-driven approach Troubleshooting application and network performance and connectivity issues. Providing off-hours, on-call L2-L3 support as needed. \n The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in design, deployment, and operational maintenance of next generation firewall management technologies Superior analytical, evaluative, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. 5-7+ years of hands-on, networking experience with 3-5+ years of senior responsibility including design, architecture, implementation, deployment, and support. Cisco Routing / Switching experience to include Nexus and Catalyst.

Additional Preferred Skills:

FortiGate, SonicWALL, and/or Palo Alto Firewalls Juniper MIST SDWAN, Velocloud VMWare NSX Azure Cloud Computing VoIP experience (Cisco, Shortel, Avaya, etc.) in both a hosted and on-prem model DR / Fault Tolerance / Business Continuity Planning experience

Other Requirements

Valid Driver’s license 10-20% travel anticipated annually (by vehicle and/or airline) Ability to lift 50-80 pounds as needed Ability to wear personal protective equipment for extended durations

Education, Experience and Certifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience Cisco or related professional certifications Cisco CCNA, CCNP and/or CCIE 7+ years of Enterprise level, IT Infrastructure experience in a senior, hands-on technical role
