**The Opportunity:**
+ Support the DoD as Senior Network Administrator for an Army Task Order that provides system administration, network administration, and database administration to support, maintain and operate an enclave of the Defense Research and Engineering Network (DREN).
+ This position is a hybrid position that usually only requires 2 days onsite at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Improve, maintain, configure, install, harden, and report on a DoD network consisting of Cisco switches, routers, and security devices.
+ Use problem solving skills to identify and correct network related problems such as bottlenecks, blockages, errors, and more.
+ Ensure networking devices meet and/or exceed Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) requirements to maintain the network’s Authority to Operate (ATO)
+ Assist various teams in standing up or improving new and existing technologies by providing network access with security in mind.
+ Use networking technologies such as Vlans, Subnets, and routing protocols to isolate traffic and ensure segmentation of certain traffic types where required by STIG or best practice.
+ Provide support to customers and team members to solve challenging IT network problems.
**Qualifications:**
_Required:_
+ Active DoD Secret Clearance
+ Experience with Cisco Layer 2 and Layer 3 switches
+ Experience with Cisco Firewalls
+ Experience with Cisco Routers
+ Experience working with and reporting on DISA STIGs.
+ 7 Years of experience
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other Engineering or Technical discipline. An Advanced degree is desired.
+ 8140 Cyber Workforce Qualification Program Certification (CEH or CFR or Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC)
_Desired:_
+ Experience with Cisco Software Defined Networking (SDN)
+ Experience with Fibre Channel (FC) storage networking
+ Experience with Cisco WiFi products
+ Experience with Port Security such as 802.1x
+ Experience with Cisco ISE

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$90,300 - 189,600 USD
