Kforce has a client in San Francisco, CA that is seeking a Senior Network Engineer who will be hands-on in designing, building, maintaining, and operating our global network and IT infrastructure, delivering optimal performance, reliability, and security to support the firm's goals and growth. Responsibilities: * Design, develop and deploy network infrastructure across WAN, LAN, wireless and remote environments, ensuring it meets the company's needs for performance, reliability, and security * Monitor network performance, conduct regular health checks, and optimize network operations to ensure high availability and efficiency * Develop and implement robust network security protocols to protect sensitive financial data and ensure compliance with industry regulations including firewall configuration and management * Manage/monitor network operations ticketing queue for service requests to resolve network issues and Implementation tasks * Manage network documentation: maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures to ensure transparency and facilitate troubleshooting * Perform on-site and remote technical support and system administration of various networks, servers, and systems * Troubleshoot network issues: quickly identify and resolve network issues escalated from lower tiers of support to maintain optimal network performance * Collaborate with IT and business teams: work closely with other IT and business teams to align network infrastructure with business goals and support various projects and initiatives * Contribute to technical strategy, policies, and procedures
