Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems has an opportunity in Colorado Springs, CO as a member of the Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) National Team.
THE WORK
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team. As a Network Engineering SME, you will be at the forefront of network design, solving complex technical problems, leading team members in technical execution, and training less experienced engineers. You will work within an agile team, planning work based on customer requirements and program contractual agreements. Your responsibilities will include applying extensive expertise to solve complex problems, performing work with minimal direction, and representing the organization as a prime customer contact on significant technical matters. You will also be responsible for planning, deploying, integrating, and testing upgrades to the C2BMC network, traveling to remote locations for network installations and troubleshooting, and creating and presenting key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics related to the Network Enterprise.

Basic Qualifications:
- Must have a Final Secret clearance prior to starting
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
-Must have DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II Compliant Certification (e.g. Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA)
- Network Design & Development experience
- Experience designing, implementing, and managing Network Management and Monitoring Systems
- Extensive experience with networking protocols
- Proven troubleshooting expertise
- Experience planning and supporting the deployment of network infrastructure
- Experience leading projects and training individuals on technologies
Desired Skills:
- Top Secret Clearance is a plus
- Experience loading and modifying MIBS and SEED files
- Experience writing scripts for network automation and developing fixlets for IBM BigFix
- JNCP or CCNP Certification
- Prior C2BMC experience
- Experience developing KPIs and tracking other metrics, and creating reports
- Effective communication and excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently at times
- Ability to travel to alternate work locations to execute job duties

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
